Here’s the fact:
A 32 year old teacher in Hahnville, LA has sex with their 16 year old student.
Ordinarily this person would get 20 years in prison and probably some extra time because they were in a position of authority. Ordinarily the prison sentence would be followed by a harsh life sentence on the registry.
In this case, however, the teacher received a $1,000 fine but a three-year prison sentence was deferred on the condition that they complete 90 days of mental health treatment. The teacher will be on probation for three years and will not have to register!!!!

BUT NO, HERE’S HOW THIS AMAZING FEAT HAPPENED:
It turns out St. Charles Parish Judge Emile St. Pierre is the father of the teacher!!!!!
The sexual predator’s father is a Judge and that’s why she avoids the registry!!!
So, just to clarify, apparently here are the rules:
(a) if your dad is a Judge, no registry.
(b) if you are a police officer, such as this former “officer of the year“, no registry.
(c) if you are a politician, such as Mark Foley, no registry.
or (d) if you are Mark Lunsford’s kid or John Walsh himself, no registry.
Some of these cases are perfect for education also – to show the general public that these laws are not really about keeping children safe – if they were then everyone would get the registry. I wonder how the general public would interpret it if they knew that certain people like those mentioned do not get on the registry becasue of political ties

Senior in high school in St Lucie County..last year.. imprenated a 14 yr old…his sentence..the judge said he didn’t want to “ruin” the football senior’s life.. The judge instructed the kid to write a letter to the girl and er family..saying he was sorry……University of Tennessee, who gave this football player a full ride, heard about it and cancelled the scholarship……..I’m sorry!!!!!
