It would be interesting to see how many children's lives have been shattered by DUI's (killed, parent, sibling, or close friend killed, massive lifelong physical injuries, mental trauma from all of the above).

I have been inviting people in comments to come read about the facts and challenging them to look at real statistics, comparisons of recidivism rates, impact of rehabilitation and the end of sentences for other crimes compared to what we still endure post completion of our sentences. Recidivism rates are staggering for other crimes that are considered bad but are more "normalized" in society (think DUI, drug offenders/dealers, theft/burglary/robbery, which usually escalates to more severe and just as impacting to society). There are a multitude of vs statistics that we, in my opinion, should be using in these lawsuits. DUI = 34 percent recidivism rate. 34 percent!!!!! And those are the ones that got caught again and possibly AGAIN. The same exact argument that they use against PFR's. I have recently started working on building a folder on these statistics, and obviously started with DUI stats, mainly because I have seen it personally, both the recidivism and impact, where once done with their sentence, it is a thing of the past, up until it happens again and someone(s) are injured or worse and then it is the same process again. Charged, sentenced, completed, and reintergrated with minimal impact or care.

For us, it's immediately the "woodchipper", banishment, or other likes of that.....
