Its bad in Polk County too. Between not being able to find a job or housing there’s no hope for anything. They have gone above what the system was in place for. I met a guy at over 21 club well he wasn’t and now im registered. There’s no help for us i live off 1,000 a month due to my disability and I can either pay all my rent not electric or vise versa not both. Ive looked for 9 years for a job and my registration is why I cant find one. Some people didn’t harm children like its supposed to be for. I was 24 he said 21 so im punished for life over that and had I known he was 17 a month away from 18 it never would have been a thought. Its all money making politics making things worse not better it sucks thats my only issue on this is I literally can’t afford to live a life mo mater how hard I try. Im 50 years old did most of my life in prison only to get out and still be in prison ive done 10 years on registration and it needs serious adjustments made

This is human nature in particular those in power and always looking for ways to add or stay in power . Marginalize, dehumanize, manipulate the masses, exploit, justify, and cherry on top… monetize the subject.

They are right on one aspect we can not change how we think, but we can change how we act. But even if we do they wont care or give you a second chance.

I got off of probation in 2002. The last time I formally interviewed for a job was 2003. I have been self employed since 2005 and even that is becoming even more difficult. I lost a high paying commercial client THIS PAST WEEK due to the registry. The long trajectory toward complete ostracizism and clusterphobic surveillance has been building for a long time now. It’s open season on everybody all the time these days. I’ve done everything within my power and then some to make amends, succeed, give to the community and be accepted. Not gonna happen. After almost 30 years I am tired and have a serious case of C-PTSD that I had to self diagnose on my own. My immediate goals are to lay low, conserve energy and money and try not to completely have a nervous breakdown. Deep down inside I am beginning to realize I really need to leave Florida. Good bye home……

Is there anyway to reach out to April directly? I remember a month or so ago when she was running for that position and I couldn’t find an email so I reached out the mayor Shon Owens. Here’s his email if anyone wants to reach out and show support. Mr. Owens has been in her corner the entire time.

Same thing happen in Brevard county Fl in April this years. All false charges. So sick of the corruption in our state of Florida
