Plenty of people get it. There are just not enough people standing up and speaking/pushing this common sense.
The point she made about it causing harm is very true, especially because there is so much corruption in law enforcement. Many are purposefully focusing on creating criminals and labeling them as child predators and/or dangerous predators, when they really are not, while law enforcement is protecting the true child predators and dangerous predators. I’m convinced that is what is going on in Midland, TX. There are too many similar stories that get covered up by the media, law enforcement, government, etc, and there are way too many red flags. There is definitely a cover up. I’m convinced that’s what they’re covering up here (sex trafficking), on purpose.

I first read this article last week following links to Australian newspapers. A point that was made that impressed me was the observation that the registry focuses more on punishment of a crime that was committed in the past rather that looking ahead to lower recidivism and protect children and society.

I believe that we here in the US should point this out to lawmakers and to the public. It may be more effective than citing academic research which may intimidate or confuse people. Our own POTUS 45 seems to shut down anytime he sees or hears the word “Science.”

Not saying we should shut down Scientific Research, just augment it with observations such as this one.

Now, When will the U.S. figure this out !?!?!?!?!?.. I’ve spent the entire weekend putting up with pure “H_LL”, Because of “The Registery” !!!. A neighbor thinks he can Harass, Threaten, Cuss, Slander, Intimidate, and decimate my character, All because I’m on “The Sex Offender Registery” !!!!!. And even after Calling the Marion County Sheriff’s Office SEVERAL times, And Showing them a video of my neighbor and his wife, Coming down my (Very long) driveway, Just to “Harass, And Threaten me, As well as DOZENS of Pictures of him putting the concrete blocks in the Road where I drive !!!. And NOTHING was done !!. This guy throws HUGE(60lb bags of Hardened Quick Crete bags) Blocks of Concrete in the road, Where I drive, Hoping I will damage my Vehicles !. I move them WEEKLY with my tractor ! He does “ALL KINDA” things to “Aggravate & Harass” me, And my only recourse is to “Sue Him” myself !! Because the “Sheriff’s Dept”, Says he really hasn’t done anything “Criminal” enough, YET !! . The “Registry” is a WASTE OF MONEY, AND A DANGER TO ANYONE ON IT, AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS !!!!. It’s a “Public Hit List” !!!. It’s like our “Government” has “Secretly” figured out a way to have the “Unwanted” people, KILLED OFF, Without actually having to do it themselves !!. They post a “PUBLIC” list of the most HATED people on the PLANET Secretly hoping that the “Public” will “Take Things Into their Own Hands” and slowly WIPE OUT, Those deemed “Not Worthy” of living !!. Something MUST BE DONE !!! And done SOON/NOW !!!.

We need more of this common sense throughout the world…especially in the United States where condemning and monitoring is out of control. In the meantime the real problems roam about totally ‘off the scope’.
