This was actually filmed and released way back in 2017.

I was interviewed for it but was not featured.

In fact, it was the discussion I had with the BBC that started the chain of events that led to me facing a false arrest and a SLAPP suit against me.

I’m partially glad to see this put out, but it seemed a little wishy-washy with the “can we trust them” attitude and “see, this guy lied” scene. Perhaps the ones interviewed were the only ones to agree to it, but I can’t say that they make any PFR look any better.

Let’s be real. Ron Book was an absentee father whose daughter was horribly abused every day for 6 years by someone who was not on the registry and trusted by the family. How can a parent not have some idea that a person living under your roof abused your child for 2,190 consecutive days? What does he do? Instead of soul searching and trying to address his shortcomings as a parent he takes his rage and bloodlust out on others. He creates non-sense policies that destroy lives, destroy families, increase crime and increase homelessness. The journalist in the documentary is from a country (UK) that has a private registry but much less harsh living conditions and an avenue to get off the registry in a shorter period of time, yet the UK has been no less safe or had nearly the same terrible outcomes as our registry has created here. So, what really is the point of the Florida registry (I already know the answer)

If cops put a public alert sign in my yard to show that an offender lives in my home, the CHILDREN would be the ones coming to my door to call me a pervert, throw things, etc. Aren’t such BS signs meant to scare the kids away? The kids have already bullied me a couple of times even without the signs.

This is dated 2025 but as far as I know Miracle Village has not existed for several years and I believe all the interviews were years old. What happened to all the residents of the village? Living conditions all over Florida are much worse now. Glad the situation with Lauren Book came up and where were her parents for 6 years!! Of course she feels rage and of course he feels guilty as he should. So I think we need a more recent doucmentary. I don’t know if this serves any real purpose but I certainly appreciate the professional depth that Stacey put into this and her personal time as well

On the lighter note the had a good chuckle at PO office when I told them who my first PO was. Didn’t know why office laughed and said your on sex offender registration and not him. Well here’s what he did BTW he was second im charge of whole office Raul
