Once again they are using fear tactics to justify their behavior – we have the same thing here and worse in our own backyard. The biggest danger to children on Halloween is getting hit by a car – always has been. This perpetuates the common belief that stranger danger is rampant and in actuality stranger danger is so rare it is akin to getting struck by lightning (or any other rare event). I know that in some counties in FL all the RSOs have to go spend the night somewhere…..absolutely horrifying and wrong!

Every year the same old crap. Put on a show that is nothing but utter bullshit and only done for the media and to perpetuate the myth that sex offenders (those already listed) just wait all year long looking forward to halloween as an opportunity for what exactly?

To participate in a holiday…perhaps they should ban Christmas as well…think of those carollers singing songs door to door…Watch Out!

This is simply yet another blatant example of public shaming and nothing more – Period!
