Florida sheriffs can and do enforce laws that are impossible to comply with, and we are challenging those laws in Federal court.

If a law is impossible to comply with, how can it be enforced? I don’t see a need to spend money on any action on a law that cannot be complied with, as it would be unenforceable.

This would not – the California statute does not mandate that the reporting be in person and there’s a state-wide stay at home order there, so there is a distinction. We are also contemplating our own action here.

Would this case have any implications to other states? I also noticed NARSOL is also contemplating similar conjunctions in other states.
