We are currently asking all members to call their legislators to oppose the bill.

If the bill fails there is nothing more to do.

If the bill becomes law, it will be up to us whether we can file a legal challenge to it. There is no question we will want to, but the question is whether we can raise the funds to bring a lawsuit. Currently we’re still trying to collect for our Ex Post Facto challenge and that’s a struggle.

In reply to Florida Action Committee. What are we doing about it as a group. I emailed all who were on the list. What I want to know is what FAC is doing next or are we just letting this go without a fight. Or if we are fighting are we doing it through legal counsel. In other words.....what's next??

In reply to Florida Action Committee. I don't know if this bill will pass or not. But one thing is for sure. I will not give my child to DCF or anyone from the state. I will use lethal force to protect my child from being taken.

In reply to Mike. It does not say they will. It says they CAN. So, an ex spouse or Department of Children and Families can initiate a petition to remove parental rights or remove a minor child from your custody and the presumption will be that the registrant is dangerous to the child and the burden will be on the registrant to provide otherwise.

I don’t get it. Is this bill saying that if you have been convicted and are labeled a sex offender – they will now try and take your child/children away from. You? Some one please clarify.

We knew this would be her agenda and so does all the legislaters. Let her get the state sued one good time and lose for one of her hateful, unconstitutional laws (that were once mainstream) and she’ll slow her roll, and her daddy’s. Their days of the victim industry are numbered. Two very hateful individuals who deserve jail time for their known lies. They have gotten money and power from her daddy’s bad choice of a nanny. It looks like you should thank your dad now bitch!

I am confused about the wording of this bill. Is there a link that can be shared where we can read the bill? I have done a Google search and cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated. I will be contacting the appropriate official once I know what I’m actually talking about. Thanks!
