Wow! it does sound like sanity! They actually seem to “get it” – I like the wording that the lifetime monitoring is punishment and would have to be part of the adjudication – well duh! They recognize in here that it would have to monitored by the sheriff office and the majority of registered citizens would not be able to pay just becasue they say so! This looks good!

In reply to Howard Ofner. I was present in the hearing room. We now know what misguided information and personal unprovable statements are going to be used to try and push this bill through. If we can provide information packets that disprove the unverifiable data being presented we should be able to push back some more. It was interesting that de la portilla stated it might take another year before this bill is ready. I know that there were many people from Tallahassee that took the time to contact committee members and express concern over this bill. How much does 3M stand to make if this is passed? Just food for thought.

The bill has been tabled till next week there is a video of comments from Senator Diaz de la Portilla and comissioner pepie diez during the session.

Senate delayed the vote on SB134 until next week.

Completed a call to action with phone calls and emails to all committee members in the senate. Just watched the senate meeting. SB134 was ” tee-peed” for next week. Diaz and de la portilla gave a few minutes of misguided comments. You should watch. It is near the end of the two hour meeting. Well, I guess we regroup for a call to action next week. FYI senator Evers seems gun ho to get this bill passed.
