You really want gainful employment? All of you still qualify for a Pell Grant. Get an education in engineering and/or machining. They both start at around $15 per hour and can easily move into the $30 range. Otherwise, you’re going to be stuck mowing lawns, working fast food, or in construction forever. You could start a business, but the odds are mostly stacked against you there: start becoming mildly successful and once it’s known about your “situation”, you’re pretty much done. No one can take your education away and the best colleges are in more liberal areas. Once you have a degree stacked with certifications, employers will love to have you. You do not have to disclose your “situation” to your employer or landlord.

Again, this a ckear example of voluntary lack of understanding specifics of circumstances. Each case is unique, I believe cases that has been deemed low risk should be considered as part of community reitegration. Give the community some leeway, it will help financially too.
