That's just what our country's politicians want from its citizens, a bunch of idiots that will buy into any load of crap that's spoon fed to them, and all to often they just eat it up. It's what keeps this country under their control, and it's regular citizens to remain clueless to the real agendas.

Plus not everyone on the registry had an arrest for a minor. Could have been a homeless guy peeing in public. A girlfriend / boyfriend who wanted revenge and lied about saying no to sex etc.
And even those with an underage person, very low percentage were violent or snatch and grab.
Seems the public hears sex offender and they think everyone is John Wayne Gacy, the most famous predator in our modern times.

That’s about right there… Citizens of these “political subdivisions” are clearly non informed of the truth about the system they are subjecting themselves to.

Maybe they need to wake up from their “dream world” and come back to their first love…

My belief is that none of the registered folks had any idea that the day care center was there. Fox 30 is providing a service so that all registered sex offender are aware of the new day care facility and an overhead view showing the sex-offenders the quickest path to the day care facility to avoid city streets. Well done Fox 30! The owner of the daycare did not want to speak on camera. Notice how the owner of the day care center was treated by the reporter the same way as someone who was running a tow-truck scam or accused of embezzlement and was included in the ‘hidden camera’ shot! How DARE she open a daycare center in that neighborhood! I suppose parents who live next door to the day care center are somehow more responsible if they leave their kids home unattended than in the same neighborhood under the care of this certified day care home. Also note when they pulled out the map it looks a little farther away than the description of “right around the corner”.

In reply to Dustin. In a few months it will get so bad ABC will come out with a new reality show called Sex offender Island. Everyone on the registry will be shipped off to a remote island and be given some tools and some food and must build a new society far away from any other non registered citizens. Oh and by the way, Once a month a boat with law enforcement will come by so everyone can Re-register and make sure no one has escaped. Anyone eaten by a shark will remain on the registry.
