It is not a government job first of all. Any job that is considered "self-Employment" has the tax issue. I hear what you are saying but....some income is better than NO income. I am not in any way affilated with this company nor do I know that many details about them. I do however, know a little about these work at home self-employed tax issues. If you decide to do this kind of thing you need to plan and make sure you can pay the taxes at the end of the year. One way to do that is to go to the IRS site and you can pay ahead as estimated taxes all year - then it does not whomp on you all at one time. Many people do not have the luxury of turning down income.

$8.50 an hour and I supply my own high speed internet connection and PC and home office, which makes me a non statutory employee, meaning I pay both sides of my employment taxes and social security. Thanks but no thanks. The government victimizes us and places like this prey on their victims.
Unless you’re living for free and don’t have a family to support this isn’t even enough to pay rent and when you subtract all the taxes and costs associated with doing this “Job” it’s far less than minimum wage.

I remember this job from a couple of years ago. At that time I looked into it a bit and it had good reviews and people that worked it were satisfied. I do not know if that has changed in any way but at that time is was fully legit
