CONFIDENTIALITY: Your identity will be anonymous and will not be known to the researchers doing the study. You will be requested not to enter your name or any other identifying information on the survey.

At the very bottom of the survey in small print it clearly states:

Please do not forward this email as its survey link is unique to you.

So much for Confidentiality.

JEV, GG and CJ:
The court in Delgado v Swearingen gave them access to the email addresses but Florida cannot tie a specific email address to a specific person. If someone received an email with their name on it, it would directly conflict with the court's ruling in Delgado and possibly give the recipient grounds to sue.

In reply to <a href="https://floridaactioncommittee.org/fac-addresses-suspicious-survey-and-invites-investigator-to-answer-concerns/comment-page-4/#comment-37156">Robert</a>.

So, I'm sure if you ask a cop, or pretty much ANY individual, what they would do if someone threatened the safety and well- being of their family, they would answer with some pretty extreme measures likely including bodily harm or more of the person or persons targeting them or their family. YET, we are just expected to sit back and "take it"because we are on the registry. Any measures that would be understandable to protect one's family, would be viewed in an entirely different light if undertaken by a person on the registry.

Keep harming a dog and expect it not to protect itself. When it does bite back, have it put down. These people who harass registrants are cowards who need a dog to kick. They look for people who cannot fight back.

I am in the middle of a situation where I am ensuring this treatment right now. As group moms have decided they didn't want me around (my daughter was participating in a sport). The registry (aka "hit list") was used to incite other parents to slander and libel me. Fortunately, there is also a significant portion of the parents and other evidence that the allegation are false. Unfortunately, I still have to weather this attack at a trial. I am sure the state is going to try and sway a jury based on my conviction and try to get them to convict me just because it's the "right thing" to get me off the street, even though the evidence clearly proves my innocence. I was arrested in February and have only briefly spoken with my public defender. I am saving as best I can for a "real" attorney.

Once I have cleared this hurdle of exoneration, my goal is lots of lawsuits based on provable false sworn statements. Unfortunately, I don't make a good "victim"because of my status as a registrant. It's a way of basically saying, even though I was wronged, I either don't deserve justice in this issue or that the perpetrators were justified. So, the lawsuits will likely be from my wife and daughter seeking damages for how they were wronged. The wrongs against me will likely go unpunished from my perspective.

Point is, we are basically "muzzled" and the public is generally okay with that.

This former FDLE employee’s survey may not be illegal; yet the way he used our emails from FDLE’s database to send out his survey; seems highly unethical and unprofessional. Smells like a sting especially when a lawsuit is occurring. The timing seems way off unless it’s used to scare registrants from filing lawsuits against FDLE and the state of Florida. It’s time for their corrupt pedestal to get knocked down on their fantasyland.
