The difference between the Johns registry and the SOR is ,When people hear the Johns registry ,there first thought would be whose John, and dismiss it. When they hear the SOR they immediately think of the worst sexual crime they can think of of forceable rape And pedophiles that will never change. We must first change the designation to change the public image.

After 5 years not only will names be taken off the registry, but all private websites will remove this information as well. Chrissy I think you better off going to another state like here Az or CO. That state is crazy. I have not had any problems in this state at all. I been here 9 yrs. I do what needs to be done and never been arrested until I lived in fla. I been in and out of jail and prison while living in that state Probation than jail/or prison,then bull$hit Post Release probation.Finally I woke up and asked GOD for help to break the cycle… Been clean from drugs for 15 years.I try to stay to myself and avoid people in general. All I saying a person needs to find something to help them through this.

Your great example is human labor trafficking, something that the news, unfortunately, never picks up. Although it is still a human rights violation, law enforcement (especially in rural areas) rarely prosecutes labor trafficking cases.

Apparently, a local Mexican restaurant does the same thing.

While there be a little of what you’re referencing, I seriously doubt that it’s on the level that those women are raising the alarm for. It’s all about raising funds for their cause. They need money for drug and alcohol, but as those concerns don’t draw the attention needed to gain those funds, I truly believe that they are over emphasizing the trafficking deal to gain those funds.

I agree you here all this about sex trafficking . Like where dude. There is a lot more of human trafficking in Chinese restaurants they bring young people here as students and force them to work in the restaurants for years to pay them back for bringing them here. If they say anything they get sent back. So they work for nothing. It doesn’t have anything to do with sex so I guess that makes it all right. Is sex the only thing people can think about.
I guess that is the only thing that makes news.

Find the answer to that and you answer your own question as to being out of touch or is this hype financially/politically motivated.
