Ask them why our families have to pay the price for what we have done? I am not going to take the blame for it either and here is why.
Yes I did some bad things (I am not a denier like some). My family did nothing wrong.

I am not talking about embarrassment, or other inconvenience that all felons go through. I am talking about those we live with that get called names, are threatened, and have restrictions placed on them like not being able to use Nextdoor because of what we did. Even our kids getting bullied or beat up at school because of our registry status.

And yes, then there is the things we cannot do that other ex felons can. Going on trips with our families without having to register ever step of the way, where we are staying, and more. I could go on and on but basically, we who have completed our sentences are treated like leapers. We are given ZERO chance of rebuilding our lives or trust from others due to being placed on a dangerous life altering registry that brings the worst out of people to show up at our houses and do anything from yell at us, to kill us (Many examples of that).

I and many others are going on 30+ years without so much as a parking ticket. And NO it is not because of the registry we are staying out of trouble but in spite of the registry which to me makes staying out of trouble harder rather than easier. This is due to the 1000s of requirement traps that we have to follow that even many attorneys cannot figure out.

Thank you for your time and consideration, if nothing else, our families.
