I am my brothers keeper…how can one SO help others who don’t have a place to Parole to? I don’t want to just talk about it…I want to be about it. I write a “friend” in prison now, who I met while we were both in the same Prison. If he needed a place to Parole to, and I , my home was the only place he could go to…I would help him. I was lucky, I had a forgiving family and they knew of my bad choice that lead to my committing my sex crime. It was a bad choice, not a mistake and they forgave me for it. I served my sentence, 8 years and I had a sense of shock trying to catch up with the Free world people, places and ” new things” I had to learn to be at the speed of what I’d missed.
So I know first hand how important it is to have a friend and a caring and forgiving family. If I can be of help to those still serving time for their bad choice…I will !

So sad and unjust. What can be done about this? People coming out of prison need this time at a halfway house. This problem needs a remedy.

Look let’s face it the reality of it all sex offenders can never vote that is the law now not at the time of my crime in this state since ex post facto is null
Florida politicians should be ashamed of themselves for their destructive behavior.
They don’t want us to vote because then we would have a say as to who works for us oh ??!
Yes MR politician your job is to protect us all equally the great ,the good ,and us who have made mistakes .
Why don’t us take the time to learn about us
Oh again I pay a lot of taxes on property in this state therefore don’t you work for me ?
