Yes, this is very true.
We must expose this hateful, vile, unlawful scheme ((the registry scheme) to the light of broad daylight. That means talking about it and writing about it as often as we can.

Most “ordinary” people do not know the extent of these injustices. We must expose it to the light of day so that if can be sanitized in the sunlight.

Make sure you can get off the registry and not just ending having to re-register on a given schedule.

About those 40 Flagler County arrest I just saw the press conference FAC needs to respond with a interview of our own stating what these charges likely are and emphasize that no new sex crimes were committed and how Florida has created a minefield for PFR’s vs regular citizens and how those people lived in their communities without any other problems

This is not about the military, but I’m Flagler County. They just arrested 40 registered citizens all her violations of requirements. We know the majority of them it was just an oversight or a mistake. I think this might be a perfect example for the lawsuit?

I would seriously recommend using Ron Kleiner. the process is grueling and difficult, and honestly although you could do it prose, you will be emotionally committed and will not be prepared for what the State and FDLE will throw against you. Ron Kleiner is a good source to go to. Its not just being prepared but you don’t want to mess up and create case law against you in the future for not being prepared to fight the state and FDLE.

A – I too feel the same trapped Ness as all the pre registry feel. I would move out the US tomorrow, but I have 3 grown kids, a wife and 89-year-old pop. Just got to hang on. We should have some idea of the case FAC filed and how it will be handled. For me if takes too much longer I will be able to apply to get off. I have 12 more times to report. Really shouldn’t but what can we do but wait.

Here in Florida, the registry is for life. Yes, a pathway off was created but it is up to the judge and if you get denied, that can really suck. Lots of people have regretted moving here but the pros and cons depending on where in Florida you live. If you think things are worse where you are now, might be worth the chance but it is a toss-up and a gamble for some.

Yes, but you would need to have a few more years without any arrest before you are eligible to petition (and provided the underlying offense qualifies).
