I have seen some instances where an offender did their time, say 10 years, and yet were held for life based on prehistoric laws where they can hold someone forever if they feel they are a danger to society.

My fellow humans I feel ya pain for sure if you believe that their is a man they call JESUS Trust me he will bring you out of this mess and You is going to live to see the outcome of all of this topic them lawmakers and our so called humans government are going to have to answer to our heavenly father because he is in control of all humans no mankind on earth is powerful then my great Heavenly Father who see everything that we humans are doing on a daily basis so don’t give up my brother cause a day is going to come where all of them so called humans government who passed put others life on pause is going to be just like us mankind who is going through with this tough time of our humans life so be a good courage keep your head up and just sits back and waiting on our Heavenly Father it’s won’t be long I promise you

I read a case law where the defendant chose to voluntarily be chemically castrated.
Somewhere along the lines that case was appealed and it was declared that chemical castration could not be enforced on the man as part of his sentence regardless of who chose as it amounted to cruel and unusual punishment.

I’m continually awed that my fellow Americans seek such ambitious punishments on a regular basis yet barely raise a finger for anything resembling prevention or rehabilitation.

Back in 2004, after Hurricane Ivan came by, my house burned down, I stay elsewhere, but did not give a temporary address to DMV. Well, they came by and arrested me for this terrible “violation”. The Judge offered at the sentencing two options, one was 18 months Prison or Chemical Castration. ,Go figure. What is the Chemical Castration do to make sure I don’t do this “terrible crime” again? Mental giants in the Government and Judicial System. Judge didn’t want to hear what I had been doing since coming out of Prison. The still don’t want to know. All they see is the initial offense, for which I was sentenced to 8 years Prison and 10 years Probation, which I completed, But this was the time in which then Gov. Scott changed things and I became a RSO. NO justice.

So the government is forcibly administering a treatment that can physically disable and possibly kill this man. I had to reread this to make sure I was reading it correctly, because a slow, possibly agonizing, physically damaging sentence seems unconstitutional to me.
