IL: County sheriff’s deputies monitoring sex offenders
This isn’t that newsworthy except for the Deputy’s comments that registrants should be forced to remain in their county of conviction. Someone might want to remind him of the Privileges and Immunities Clause of the United States Constitution which states, “The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.” Freedom of movement is a fundamental right and once someone is off probation there is no reason or right to restrict them.

Yes Cherokee many can make a mountain out of a mole hill but when it comes to Justice.seems we are all looking for relief. Call it smoky and the bandit were they are the bandit and groups such as FAC and others are striving to smoke them out. Sure many of these registry issues are planned in this scheme of unjust law. Punishment is bad enough but unjust well thats were one has to draw the line.
For instance when I got down to the location that night in question the officer said if I hadn't came down their they would come and get me. So how does a pretend 15 yr. old drive? They knew the evil they were doing. Now years later we are all trying to seek justice.I would just like to have a job myself. Its hard enough seeing family members go thru this or who is overdosing on this registry. Seems these credit checks are a bit much also, and with info about sex crimes via the internet info highway it all has to come to an end. Wonder whos' shoplifting who today with this Adam and Eve type tinybopper stuff. This registry needs to be rebuked for many of these offenses. And I thought we all offended daily in thought and deed.
Looks like WRTV and the Marion County sheriff is a prime candidate for phase 2 of the media project.
The fight against the Registry and those that support it will soon shift. I will be training outreach wariors and oddly they’ll be getting paid to do it!
Sounds like some Buford T. Justice is enjoying this registry task of keeping track. Maybe one should send a song to him called “Dirty laundry”. I’m sure that sheriff has a lot of dirty laundry. Even someone said one can’t go out of the county or does one have to get permission to use the internet these days. Guess they will kick you when your down.
That guy has lived there for decades, didn’t know people with sex offenses lived there, never mentioned having any issues with anyone but now decides he’s going to be “more vigilant” of who’s around him. STFU! Fear mongering.

Happened to me as well
I said I would never let anyone make me move. But it happened a few years back. I was at the same place for over 20 years. My Crime was over 30 years ago now with zero incidents since then, half my life ago.
Anyway I was pretty much left alone but then people on facebook got together and started posting flyers around and causing damage to my place. I ended up moving. I been at the new place for a bit but, now with the nextdoor thing, I am getting people staring more as they drive by the house. Before I lived alone. Now I live with relatives and I am concerned for them being targeted as well.

Now it exists because he made it so in his mind.
There was a saying for that, it went something like this: GUY #1 “Oh I thought there were no sex offenders on my street”.
GUY #2 “Well, see, that is what you get for thinking”.
