OK OK, so abortion really isn’t the point here. The point is, regardless of your opinion on it, it is the termination of a human fetus, and in mine, and a lot of others’ opinions, that constitutes the definition of murder. The termination of a life. Yet people don’t get all up in arms about it the same way they do about child abuse. Both are horrible in my opinion.

MJ – yeah much to say but won’t – but I do have to point out that no woman can “get herself” pregnant. If we could the possibilities would be endless lol The complete act of sex got her pregnant so both parties are equally responsible. Also, there are many pregnancies that occur from non-consensual sex. Remember men can have sex as many times as they like and there are no consequences. Even if it results in an unwanted pregnancy our society allows them to walk away if they want to. Finally, why is it you assume that it is the woman’s responsibility to prevent pregnancy but then you do not want her to have any control over the outcome of that pregnancy?

I just find it so interesting society’s responses to stuff like this. They want to create lynch mobs upon any suspicion of child sex abuse, yet, and I don’t really care what anyone says about the issue, but a mother can KILL, YES KILL, her unborn child that didn’t even get a chance to have life upon no fault of their own, and we in Western civilization APPLAUD her choice to do that. Well she had a choice. She CHOSE to lay down with that guy and get herself pregnant and allow him to take advantage of the situation because SHE didn’t say NO. And now, she wants to get rid of the inconvenient consequence of her actions. (**And yes, I realize that in the case of pregnancy caused by rape that is a difficult circumstance).

In any event, regardless of how a woman becomes pregnant, she is legally allowed to abort (murder) her own child, yet no one raises their displeasure about it in society in general.

So, the moral of the story then is, If you’re lucky enough to make it out of the womb, kid, we’ll protect the hell out of you. But in the 9 months you spend as a fetus in this world, you’re on your own kid. Here’s hoping you have a life-giving mother. I mean, is that not the case?

I am convinced that most societies and certainly all governments are severely screwed up and have become mentally insane. Go ahead and add India to that list as well. Hindus killing Christians in India? Nah, not an issue. Caste system that causes extreme poverty and shanty towns and health issues across the country? No big deal. Crazy religious Hindu nuts bathing in the Ganges river making the water look gray? Nah, no health issue to worry about there. Create a sex offender registry because we need it? Why, of course!
