I don’t believe all cops are bad, I believe the bad ones spoil all. Kinda like us: not all registrants are bad; yet the ones who did the worst we get lumped in with them.

What happened to the universal 1500ft law proposal? Based on the article, I’m glad that it didn’t become law as it would create a situation similar to Brevard County. But I am curious? Is the causeway camp still in existence?

Miami is not in Broward county it is in Metro-Dade county but they meet at a border.

That’s Miami-Dade, but close.
Nobody is forced to go to the event. I assure you it is not some scam to try to arrest people and the organizers are members of the reentry task force. If people don’t show up and speak out that there is an issue, it’s as if it doesn’t exist. This is a GOOD thing and hopefully people will recognize that.

Although I am not a mind reader, I think what he meant was that maybe some could not make it that day and if they held it for 2 or 3 days, perhaps more people would have the opportunity to attend?

But me personally, I appreciate this is being done at all. It somewhat feels like someone gives at least two toots about us.

So you mean it would be nice if it was held in multiple days so that we could be forced to register wherever we were staying as a temporary address? That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
