I hope you’re right. I had read something about the state government wanting to exclude sex offenders from the Amendment 4 reinstatement and even apply it retroactively to people like myself as part of some implementation compromise.

I think you are mis-reading amendment 4, it will not take away your right to vote if you had adjudication withheld and are not a felon

FACT!
To think that after all of this time I may now lose my right to vote is an Orwellian / Kafkaesque dilemma of unending personal jeopardy that I find hard to believe! Just when I think I’ve seen it all or that we’ve reached a “highwater mark” of short sighted, poorly crafted or ineffective legislation along comes this Amendment 4 back door attack.

Why can’t it just be that simple and not get into these technicalities. Once any person finishes their sentence regardless of the crime, then their full rights are automatically restored. Save yourselves from unnecessary headaches and confusions with simplicity.
