You know Cherokeejack is right. Even my hometown of Logan, WV was home of the Corn Stock Indians and yes there was a Indian Chief named Chief Cornstock. I live in VA now and yes officials at that period treated the Indians’ terrible. With this registry story telling of use and abuse is a bit vain in these cover-ups of justice or was Manhattan sold for a few beads or did the really have Indian Wars or even an Civil War are we all still looking for peace in a nation or who is attracting in this type of government prostitution of vain or blind justice.

My Grandmother’s people (The Cherokee nation) goes back thousands of years in North America. This is my home. Even If I have to be the last man standing, no Government will force me to leave the U.S. I am proud to be an American and am proud of the mixed blood of Cherokee and German.

I have been to Germany and it is a nice place to visit. I was born in the U.S and have no desire to be pushed out of it. I luckily was also born to a Christian home (not knocking any other religions) and my(our) faith is what helped me and my family get through my arrest, prison, probation and now for the past 5000 years(seems like it) the registry since 1997 when I was placed on it.

I appreciate your information and concern for me and others on the registry. We need more people like you getting involved in the cause. Stay blessed, stay strong. Prayers and love your way for you and your family. Do not let anyone control who you are. God gives us free will and “Usually” the U.S is one of the most free countries. Except when it comes to those on the registry.

I feel your pain. It’s disheartening that SO’s are kept from truly living a just life. I don’t know if you know the florida case of River Whitsett. Google his story it’s pretty interesting. To make a long story short he was tired of the social and injustices he faced as a SO. I don’t know how he did it and how much it costs but he left the US for Germany. He has a you tube channel called common sense laws and he advocates for change and exposes the realities of life as a SO. You can join his patreon for a small monthly fee and get involved in his efforts. My bf gets out in 53 days (after 3 years) and I would love to leave the US for a better life somewhere else. Something to think about….

This may sound weird, but what do you think of this idea.

Everyone in the U.S on registry sells everything they have. We all pitch in and buy a huge track of land in some state and build our own city. We would be self governed. No one but those on the registry and their direct families would be allowed to live there.

We could have our own city government. Anything we are not allowed to do (like work on our own police department) our family members could fill those positions. If outsiders try and get in, the entrance to the cities guards will tell them “Not in my neighborhood, you sick outsiders”.

Reverse discrimination huh?

Thank you for your Dad’s service and thank you for the recognition. Greatly appreciated. I would have done a full 20 yrs or maybe more. My goal of 20 yrs was dramatically cut short due to my offense. On a positive note I still got a honorable discharge after 8 yrs of service. So I get full VA benefits. However, I still can’t get any housing benefits due this registry BS. The government says yes but the state says NO!! Even if I found housing outside of exclusion zones. I get rejected just from my criminal background check let alone the registry or at least that is my assumption. The housing authority can reject you for any reason. It’s hard to fight and prove that they rejected you solely on background checks. If I didn’t receive VA benefits I’d be screwed. I’d definitely be homeless. Mental and physical health treatment definitely wouldn’t be affordable. My situation would be exponentially exacerbate. I can’t imagine how it would be without the VA. All the people who have no other outlets for help due this registry crap weighs heavy on my heart and I deeply sympathize and empathize with them.

Lol I had to laugh at this. It’s not funny but the explanation to the other inmate is. Maybe my sense of humor has just gotten far out there, dark and twisted due to PTSD from combat in Iraq and being on the registry for life.
