This is a de facto law anyway. Go apply for an apartment and let me know what percentage get approved after the background check? And if you apply in a wife’s name and move in later, you get non-renewed.

In reply to Roger. This gives the drug dealers 'free range' with the children. The drug dealers couldn't have come up with such a good deal for themselves if they had tried. Some of these lawmakers are watching too much TV and playing too many video games.

How about this ordinance in Mequon, WI: “Child safety zones. No person shall enter or be present upon any real property upon which there exists any facility used for or which supports a use of: A movie theatre; A public or private golf course or range;” and a dozen more of such restrictions of which many like “golf courses, and movie theaters” that have nothing to do with being specific to children. In fact, I would venture to say that a private golf course is extremely unlikely to have any children! What about if the theater is featuring an “R” rated movie? Residency restrictions do not allow RSO to live near the police station or within 2000 feet of where someone is home schooled. Basically, after creating the map, the city attorney placed a restriction on any available spot on the map. More political actions by politicians running scared on false info. I suppose it’s OK for drug dealers to live there, after all, it makes buying drugs much easier for the parents. Sound crazy? Well that is what all these restrictions are.
