likely story….how would a judge actually be able to under oath agree that the monies he posted to bail out are actually his monies…..

Here we go….likely this beast will end up in a Florida Subsidized Prison-the ones that are protected per Florida tax payers dollars; fenced in yard; meals delivered; separated canteen and TV’s to watch

I am so sorry for this pain you, your family, and your son are experiencing. But your story perfectly articulates the destruction this registry causes without doing any of what it claims to do. The registry leaves nothing but destruction, wasted resources, and more crime in its wake.

I am a responsible mother and I have always been there for my children and that did not prevent my son from having to register. He had a whole future ahead of him, responsible, educated, intelligent, good friend, excellent brother, worker, in his senior year he enlisted in the US Marines. He made a mistake, but they also deceived him, they lied to him about his age, there was never physical contact it was only by text messages and when he found out of his real age he assumed responsibility and ended up paying for the mistake. Now he can’t live with us, he can’t study what he really would have liked, he sacrifices himself day by day working to be able to support himself alone, today he has a place to sleep but there is always the concern that tomorrow will not. I live afraid that some vigilante wants to hurt him, that any administrative error could deprive him of his freedom. No Mrs D. the education we offer to our children does not guarantee that one day their children will get into trouble. God always takes care of your sons. I don’t wish any mother who has to go through this nightmare, not only did he pay with his life in pieces, we also pay because tranquility is no longer part of our lives.

Well I didn’t father five kids, but two. One’s a law student and the other is in the firefighter academy. So despite me being on the registry I guess that was good parenting and respect. I guess that makes us no better than the other, or just plain lucky. .

No it sounds like you were lucky. I was raised right. Went to college. Professionally respected. Married had two children and because of a mistake during depression ended up on the registry. So those that live in glass houses should not throw stones.
