Derek, good to see your posts here! Why haven’t the FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN FORCEFULLY SEPARATED FROM THEIR LOVED ONES not been on Ron Book’s doorstep every second with the volumes of studies that debunk the hate-based propaganda he and his daughter spew at every opportunity? Where are they in this fight? Why aren’t these registered human beings rallying and raising bloody hell?

Is Flori-duhhhhhh so screwed up that there isn’t one honest, fair judge in the whole judicial system in the entire state of Florida? Why isn’t there any mention of an appeal of the judge’s order to go ahead and disband the camp and arrest homeless offenders? There has to be a way to get an emergency injunction from a higher court!!! Since when is homelessness a crime?? (Especially in the view that they’re homeless due to legislative action at the local and state level!!!!!!)

Although this ruling is awaiting appeal in the 10th Circuit, the Colorado S.O.R. has been ruled unconstitutional on 8th Amendment grounds (cruel & unusual punishment).

There has been a recent victory in Florida regarding retroactive application of residency restrictions. Judge Mindy Solomon of Broward County has held Section 16-127 of the Fort Lauderdale Code of Ordinances unconstitutional both as applied and on its face. The effect of this ruling is to roll back an enhanced residency restriction applied to registered citizens which was enacted in October, 2007, and that prohibited all persons ever convicted of enumerated child sex offenses from residing within 1,400 feet of various designated landmarks, including schools and school bus stops.

The victories may be small, but they are coming.

Also, look at the First Amendment victory we won in Packingham v. North Carolina. Now no state can statutorily banish sex offenders from social media. I only wish the ruling applied to those subject to lifetime state supervision because our rights are diminished.

I am a registered citizen in Tennessee. Do you think the public actually gives a crap about what’s happening to homeless sex offenders in Miami? Most of the public you’re wanting to inform are probably in Ron Book’s cheering section. Most people think there’s no such thing as too much punishment for sex offenders, especially those who have victimized a minor.

I love it!! As usual, your bluntness is appreciated. I too don’t understand why someone hasn’t cold cocked them either. I also don’t understand why any RSO would willingly stay in Dade or Broward counties or anywhere in south FL actually. North FL is so much better and has so many more rural areas in which to live and “hide”. Although some of them like to put highway signs in front of the predators houses saying that they live there (looking at you Bradford county–home of Waldo–the world’s worst or former worst speed trap. That got shut down recently). Anyway, I know they have connections there and such, but my quality of life is worth a lot more than being close to family. They have the means to come see me, so they can drive over if they want to see me. I would encourage any RSO in FL to first, get the hell out of the state, but if you can’t, come to North FL. Jacksonville is one of the best cities to live in for people in our situation. Never had a problem with LEOs here.

True, Derek, though Allapattah was the River Park Trailer Park, which we won’t count, since there were trailers there. Ron Book did evict all the people from there.

I know it is going to sound bad but screw it, I’m shocked that in all these years of Ron Book and his airheaded daughter committing atrocities against registered humans, not one of those abused by the Book Crime Family has spoken up, much less cold cocked one of those scumbags.

The LAST person I would trust to help me out of homelessness is a father-demon spawn duo that calls me monster, ticking time bomb, and creeping crud, and admit he hates me. Would a black guy ask for assistance from the Klan? Would a gay guy ask for help from Jerry Falwell?
