It’s crazy that they put people with a non victim crime in the same group as someone that sexually abused a child. Where’s the common sense? And I think most sex offenders deserve a second chance in life if they have went 5 years without even a misdemeanor crime. Let them be free but make it known if they commit another sex crime they will have a 20 year minimum mandatory sentence and a lifetime on the registry. But atleast give people a chance to do the right thing again!

Examining each case of its own merits would expose the twisted stats and downright lies used to justify the whole mess. If logic, reason, and FACTS were used then their whole house of cards they have build the justification on would fall.

Politicians would lose a tool that is even more valuable to them for manipulating the populace than the war on terror which is the fear factor of the boogeyman aks SEX OFFENDER lurking in the bushes just waiting to touch little ( insert random name here ).

Messy facts would also get in the way of the entire industry that has grown around and is dependant on either keeping sex offenders on that registry or manufacturing more sex offenders (sting operations or the FBI running their very own child porn website) – check this link for info on that:
