Dear Friends,
Tomorrow morning the House is scheduled to vote on H.R. 6691, the “Community Safety and Security Act of 2018.” This bill would rewrite the definition of a “crime of violence” in the federal code, resulting in nonviolent offenses being labeled as violent offenses.
In addition to this expanded definition, the process to approve H.R. 6691 has been expedited, omitting careful consideration and debate in the House Judiciary Committee.
Contact your House member now and tell them to vote NO on H.R. 6691. Click ‘Take Action’ below to act now!

Point is moot. Bill passed in less than 24 hours. It’s pretty obvious the Chump administration is passing as many onerous and punitive laws as possible before the mid-term elections which they fear they’ll lose.
We can call and write until were blue in the face if it helps the buddies of these congress men and women make money by jailing everyone then the bill will pass without any opposition as they have in the past(see IML)
they do nothing but destroy lives and cost the average american headaches and money and they could care less. good luck to all in writing i hope it has an effect
These politicians that keep passing tough on crime laws like this, and the IML are probably the ones committing the crimes.
Done and passed on to all my friends. This is typical of the “tough on crime” politicians this traitorous administration has encouraged and which serve no real purpose other than to curry votes in an upcoming election.
Take action and spread it around
