Received a SIS (suspended sentence on a plea agreement) and it is not recognized as a conviction in Missouri’s Constitution. I did the plea before the registry was ever enacted. I was off the registry until 2011 when the state recaptured me using the Federal registry….SORNA. I had won the case against the state in the Supreme Court, but lost the next time in 2011. Appealed to the Federal level and they dismissed it with prejudice. I cannot file on the same reasoning, so I am hoping someone will take this up. I spent around $60,000 to battle this, but I would be glad to help fund the right case. The Missouri ACLU is gutless. I did it through an Attorney named Arthur Benson. He practices solely on Constitutional issues.

Although different, reminds me of the Selma walk African Americans took when they finally said , NO more injustice for our people.

By the way, if you have not seen the movie Selma, bring lots of tissues. If it doesn’t make you cry, you have no soul.
