Why should tax payers have to pay for his A/C, 3 meals a day and medical.
This is justice

Margaret Cainion-Ellington I’m almost afraid to make a statement, but dow shall not kill. The person that murdered this man, will be charged with murder. It’s amazing how people are happy that a person was beaten to death. People that molest children are mentally in some kind of way.

Kim Legg-Spencer Cellblock justice. Even criminals have codes they follow and child molesters are the lowest of the low. This is why most are kept in separate blocks or solitary confinement. Same with weirdos and cannibals, the inmates don’t want them in general population.

Sick.
Just saw similar comments in a Saginaw, Michigan newspaper recently about an old friend of mine who was just sentenced to 10 to 15 years for CSC charges that he pleaded no contest to, but is probably innocent of. I wish people could see how many are convicted on nothing but the coached testimony of a child who doesn’t understand what is going on. My friend pleaded out because they were threatening him with a life sentence, and he could tell that his public defender was not going to put up much of a defense. Plus they kept him in the piece if s… county jail for over a year without a trial in order to pressure him. If convicted sex offenders banded together in Michigan’s prisons, they would be the biggest “gang” in there, because this modern witch hunt has been so successful. Easiest crime there is for a prosecutor to obtain a conviction. Too many jurors have that same mindset as those commenting above. You can bet many of them call themselves God-fearing Christians as well. They should read the words of Jesus, such as, If you don’t forgive others, your Father in heaven won’t forgive you. He didn’t say “might” not forgive you, he promised that you “won’t” be forgiven.
Internet trolling at its finest.
Getting back on topic, my heart and prayers go out to you Pam. I hope you can get some needed support in your home state. I could not imagine losing my son.
Nobody gets 40 probation except sex offenders. How is this not cruel and unusual?
Donate to the out of State Lawsuit, any amount will help get the ball rolling. Under donate click out of state lawsuit and make a contribution big or small.
COME TO FLORIDA ON VACATION AND LEAVE A LIFETIME REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER
A registered individual goes to Florida on vacation, does the right thing and registers with the Sheriffs office in the county he is vacationing presuming he’ll only be on the registry during the time he is in Florida. WRONG!
Although he is only required to register in his home State for 10 years and eventually is removed at the end of 10 years, he will be on the Florida sex offender registry for life! That’s because Florida, to inflate their registry count, keeps people on its public sex offender registry after they returned to their home state, moved out of Florida, were deported or even died!
The purpose of “Megan’s Law” is to inform the public of “dangerous” people in their communities. But what purpose does Florida’s registry serve when the individual is no longer in the community and no longer in the state? Only to shame for life!
Worse, Florida is perhaps the only state that allows its registry to be indexed by search engines. Meaning; if you Google your name, your sex offender flyer comes right up. As harmful as this is for registrants in Florida, it’s particularly harmful and unnecessary for a registrant who is no longer in the state, who is not on a publicly indexed registry in their state or who has been removed from the registry in their home state.
Less than half the people on the Florida sex offender registry are living in Florida communities. Less than half!
Individuals on the Florida registry who are no longer in Florida, coordinated in conjunction with the Florida Action Committee, are looking to bring a lawsuit against the State seeking their removal from the Florida registry. If anyone is interested in participating or contributing to the challenge, please contact [email protected].
The morality Nazis attempting to censor any thoughts that they deem inappropriate.
Lifetimes ruined by arbitrary ages and dates of who is appropriate who is an adult who is not an adult randomly selected with obviously no basis in fact.
Images made taboo again arbitrarily But clearly done on the basis of a Christian nation with no separation of church and state what so ever!
Exactly my son was 17, they waited until he turned 18 to arrest him. He served 4 years in prison and is now listed for life. Downloading C.P. and it was shared via peer to peer. In our state, there are no Tiers if there were he would be a Tier 2, due to the sharing (promoting).
40 years of probation where he never even met or contacted an alleged victim. For anyone who is not familiar with probation, it meant he could be sent directly to prison at any time during those 40 years for an alleged infraction, without the benefit of a jury trial. His probation officer undoubtedly had the authority to order psych therapy for as long and whenever he decided as well. It is sickening!
So, What part of this “Requirement To Register” compares to “The same as filling out a membership to something” ???? Looks like this young man considered the “Registery” as a Death Sentence !!. I know how he felt !! I was so close to “Ending It” but then I met a GREAT woman !! She gave me something to live for !! She gave me hope !!!!!!. Now we’re trying to move West to a state that has more “Lax” laws !! And only requires me to register for 10 Years instead of LIFE !!!. Prayers to this young man s Family. Please don’t stop the fight !! There are thousands of young people just like this fella that need someone fighting for them as well as everyone else on the Registery !!.
I thought once you were on the registry in Florida for life, that no matter what state you moved to, that would still apply. ??
Once your on Florida’s regisry you will always be there no matter where you live. Even those who came to Florida only to visit leave the state but remain on the registry. But the good news is if you move you don’t have to come back here to update Florida’s regisry. Your requirements are now up to the place you move to.
You are correct.
Even if you move away frim the sunshine state you still have to register ANYWHERE else you go for life!
The ONLY way to get your life back is to join the lawsuit to have those who have moved out of Florida removed from the list!
If you do not you will be listed for life regardless of where you move!
Guess you might want to contribute some money to the fund now right!
This is not true. If you move from Florida you will remain on the Florida registry for life, but it is not true that you will have to register anywhere you go. If you go to a place that no longer requires registration, you will not have to register there.
And what states do not have regerstry?
All states and US territories have a registry. Not all are lifetime.
Hi guys I moved the hell out of Fla. and live in AZ. I have not seen a state where it is only 10 yrs to register. I was hoping with ex fact lawsuit I could get off of it. Since my conviction was in 1991, Megan law comes out in 1995. And Eric Holder made an Illegal law when he was Attorney General For Ex-Pres. Obama In 1999. I was release from prison in 2001.I donate to out of state fund when I can. Florida is the worst state to live in as a sex offender of convicted felon. I can proven this now. Before I went to Fla. I lived N.J. and N.Y. never gotten into trouble, I have now live in AZ State for almost 7 yrs now never gotten into trouble with the law either. And I register also. When I lived in the State Of Florida, that is when I got into trouble with the law. wrong place and the wrong time. They pull you into the system over heresay, and if you can not afford a private attorney you are now stuck fighting for your freedom with a public defender who don’t care at all if you are Innocent or guilty. The Judical system is broken in that state!!!! It is sad so many young men and woman get caught up into the system because they can not afford private attorneys. All some one has to say is you did this or that you go to jail on a say so!!!
Not what I said if you are required to register in your state of conviction for 10 years after 10 your done with them however if you visited florida and registered your visit here you will always be on Florida’s regisry but you don’t have to keep updating with florida because you don’t live here Florida is keeping your information just to bloat the numbers for federal funding
