Lets just face the facts. COPS NEED RSO's. Registered citizens are a cops bread and butter. Without easy targets to pad arrest numbers most cops would be out of a job or face serious budget cuts. POLICE will never let the registry end. NOT because it protects the public (it doesn't) but because it protects lazy cops jobs.
People often rush to defend individual officers as "good cops"—the ones who let you off with a warning, who seem kind, who "understand." But this perception reveals a fundamental misunderstanding. The officer who lets you slide while arresting someone else isn't a good cop; they're simply a cop who broke protocol in your favor. That's not justice—it's favoritism dressed in uniform.

Let's set aside the obvious bad actors—the bullies with badges, the power-trippers, the ones who became officers for the wrong reasons. The uncomfortable truth runs deeper. Even officers who enter the profession with genuine ideals face a system that punishes integrity and rewards quotas.

The System Manufactures Criminals

Police departments operate on metrics. Arrest numbers influence funding, grants, and departmental budgets, promotions, raises. When crime rates drop, the pressure doesn't ease—it intensifies. Officers face implicit or explicit quotas. Low arrest numbers mean reduced funding, which means layoffs and department cuts.

This creates a perverse incentive structure: if there aren't enough "legitimate" criminals to justify the budget, the system manufactures them. Nowhere is this more transparent than in Registered Sex Offender (RSO) technical violation arrests. These aren't new crimes—no victims, no violence, no threat to public safety. These are paperwork failures: registering three days late, a typo on an address form, failing to report a new email account, or visiting a location that wasn't pre-approved. Technical violations send people back to prison for years, not for predatory behavior, but for administrative noncompliance.

Law enforcement knows these arrests pad their statistics while requiring minimal investigative effort. A compliance check becomes an arrest. A paperwork error becomes a felony. The system has created an entire subclass of "criminals" whose only ongoing offense is struggling to navigate byzantine registration requirements that change by jurisdiction and are often intentionally confusing.

When the choice is between making a questionable arrest or losing your job to someone who will, the decision becomes economic survival. It's not personal; it's business. And business, by design, must remain booming.
This is why lunatics like this tin star spout the rhetoric and beat the fear mongering drum... he doesn't believe it, he really doesn't even want a world with out RSO. He actually wants more, many, many more! . A world with out RSO is a world where he has to get a real job and actually work for his money.. Without second class citizens, registry's and a million ways to bend the law to arrest people how else would his kids get put through cushy private schools or his wife get her expensive vacas or he pay for his bad habits?

There is also a general consensus that most in law-enforcement were high school bullies. Bullies gravitate to positions of so-called authority because they have the repulsive urge to bully and control people.

I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos of cops abusing people and cops getting arrested and losing their jobs for their overly aggressive violent behaviors. Hundreds and hundreds of comments about them probably having been high school bullies. That’s the general consensus.

Someone I have known for 24 years, went to the police academy and then went on the job. He said there were agendas that they pushed and it was mandatory to meet minimum number of tickets given, speeding, tickets, etc., and other very distasteful things he was told to do and he told me he wasn’t going to do that to his neighbors. He considers everyone in town to be his neighbors.

Unfortunately, the politicians in Tallahassee do not have that factual understanding. Every single resident in Florida is their neighbor. I think most of them claim to be christians but they don’t walk the walk. If they did, and if cops who claim to be christian walked the walk, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now.

We have a neighbor who has friends whose son got caught up in the exact same thing. He talked online with someone and they set up a time to meet at the person‘s home.

So the friend’s son proceeded to go to the house to meet, but started feeling like it was a really bad idea and he drove on past the house without slowing down or stopping.

At the next intersection he had to stop at a stop sign. The goons jumped him and grabbed him on the street. He was forced to register as a “sex offender”.

Our very judgmental legal eagle neighbor felt it was very unjust that he was forced to register because nothing happened. We had a long talk about our son’s situation and it seemed to correct some of his thinking.

I strongly feel that if the entire public could hear all the stories, especially about 200,000 children as young as 8 and 9 being forced to register as so’s, there’d be a big shift in consciousness that would end the registries.

This is the kind of ignorance and hatred that has fed the corrupt system since its inception. This is the kind of damaged soul who cheered people being fed to lions. The system would crash if souls were awakened. So the dumbing down and mind control continues so the system keeps cycling because it is about $$$ and loads of it.

"The object of all despotism is revenue."
-Thomas Paine

I came across an article recently that was from last year when vulgar politicians in Tallahassee were trying to pass a law to protect their home addresses and hide from the public that they’re supposed to serve and protect. They don’t want their families put at risk. Such massive hypocrites.

The ironies flooded my mind.

Why are they concerned about us knowing where they live? If they’re working FOR us, not against us, what would they have to fear?

They are concerned about their own families, trying to pass self-serving laws (legal fictions) so that their constituents can’t even prove that they live in their district. And they know families should be protected. They’re public servants attempting to set themselves above us, just like fraud politicians in DC.

But when it comes to a person forced to register on their unconstitutional BS registry, families are of no concern to them. The families they’re supposed to represent are, in their vile opinion, not of value. They push whatever agendas make the big money. Sold their souls for personal gain. Kevin Steele and Juan Porras come to mind.

https://www.wuft.org/fresh-take-florida/2025-04-22/florida-lawmakers-consider-bill-to-keep-secret-their-home-addresses-phone-numbers

The registry is nothing but fodder for hate and profits from suffering.

When you learn that 200,000 CHILDREN have been forced to register as “sex offenders”, as young as 8 and 9 years old, there’s an immediate shift in the mind that results in a lot of questions about the intent of an unconstitutional public registry.

When you learn that a court in Germany granted protective stay to a man who fled Florida due to registry restrictions, because in their reasonable and wise minds they deemed Florida’s registry is the same thing the nazis did to jews in WW2, it forces you to face facts.

And if your mind is so controlled by the system that it can’t see the facts because of the veil of hatred and ignorance, you’ve got much bigger problems than the people you hate. The soul-sucking system keeps winning because of people’s own depravity.

The sheriff has his own Karma coming. Don’t be surprised if he ends up getting caught up in his own declaration.

JSO is still continuing to milk this story. I follow their Facebook page and yesterday they caught an "illegal" from this sting. What stood out to me was the fact he chatted with the "teens" but didn't meet. They went after him anyways. Im curious if anyone else chatted and chose not to meet, and if so, we're those the individuals JSO has been bragging about online having warrants and eventually being found. I also found it interesting that JSO made a point to tell parents that "even though your kids are on a site geared for kids" to stay vigilant. They literally just admitted to using adult sites for these stings.

I know it may not mean much coming from a stranger, but for what it’s worth — thank you for your service.
Everyone has made poor decisions at some point in their life. The Epstein Island congress are shining examples of poor decision making. But the many times you showed good judgment, courage, and sacrifice should also count for something. Your years of brave service deserve to be remembered and honored far more than they have been.
Coming from a family with deep military roots — where everyone, even many of the women have served, stretching all the way back to the founding of this country — I can truly empathize with the weight of your sacrifice and the real risks you faced. To see all of that wiped away in a single moment, only to be forgotten and looked down upon by people who have escaped responsibility for their own crimes and have never served anyone but themselves, is a bitter and undeserved pill.
Because of how veterans like yourself and my family have been treated, our family no longer takes the same pride in military service, and we no longer encourage our children to serve. No one wants to risk everything for a country that shows so little respect for those who do. Let those who have no respect have an opportunity to defend themselves. Love to cut some fence and see it happen.
At the end of the day, thank you for everything you gave and everything you risked so that those judgmental pos who gave nothing could sleep safely in their beds at night. Hats off to you brother, sincerely.

Ryan, I have a friend who was stripped of the silver star he earned in Mogadishu. He was the real Ranger who was called "Grimes" in the movie Blackhawk Down. As the expression goes, one "awww s--t", cancels out all the "atta-boys." I'm sorry you have been treated so badly.

Your comment about the terrorist equivalence is well taken. In the federal statute regarding supervised release, the authorized term for terrorists is “any term of years or life”, whereas for sex offenses the term is “any term of years not less than 5, or life”. Under current law, it is possible for a Guantanamo Bay detainee (assuming one is ever actually tried) to receive a lesser term of supervised release than someone who viewed illegal pornography, or was a teen who sent a sexy selfie to her boyfriend. It's zero to life for terrorists but five to life for SOs. See 18 U.S.C. § 3583(j) and (k).

Ryan, I have a friend who was stripped of the silver star he earned in Mogadishu. He was the real Ranger who was called “Grimes” in the movie Blackhawk Down. As the expression goes, one “awww s–t”, cancels out all the “atta-boys.” I’m sorry you have been treated so badly.
