Not only are Chinese citizens no longer allowed to buy a house in Florida, current Chinese owners must go on a registry.

“In addition to limits on new homebuyers, Chinese nationals who already own property in Florida are required by the new law to register with the state’s Commerce Department, “but they don’t even have a form yet or place or website, so that’s confused everyone,” Lin said. Failure to register by 2024 could trigger fines of up to $1,000 a day.”

You will see and recognize a statement we often hear associated with us at bottom of article. “Failure to register” was actually used when speaking of the Chinese people coming to America and buying a home. Scary (The registration not the Chinese)

I have often said that eventually if these keeps up, everyone will be on some sort of registry.

Now, with that being said, the state sure appears shady here with their practices and a fed court, IMO, would find in the favor of the person and hold the state accountable.

However,I didn’t trust it and did not register to vote. I kept the card for a while, but then discarded it. I wish I had kept it.
