I’d have to agree with you Derek. It was my personal opinion that this movie didnt really represent the majority of the people registered. I havent seen it in while but I remeber it was not that great IMO. The one guy they had highlighted that was an admitted pedophile was a terrible choice for that film. I didnt feel it did a lot of good. I personally cant stomach another viewing of anything with the Crook crime family in it.

I’ve been wanting to make a documentary of my own because most of the documentaries/news specials always seem to focus on the more heinous crimes of people who ended up on the registry.
Where are the teens who sexted or the teens who were in a legal relationship until one turned 18 before the other turned 16? There was a case like that in CT and was featured on John Stossil’s “Give Me A Break” 20/20 series. But these are never mentioned in sex offender documentaries. It’s always about child molestation. No one is going to see the registry any differently when the focus is always on something horrible.

I’d still like to make my own documentary but I dunno how/where to start and how to get the people for interviews.

I don’t think a person can be too critical of the criminals Ron and Lauren Book/Crook. Frankly, they are harassing terrorists and I think they should be treated exactly as terrorists should be. They deserve the harshest consequences conceivable.

The heat should have been cranked up on the Books but this film didn’t even confront him with ANYTHING that contradicts his BS. The rest of this movement is way too easily impressed, but I am not.
