Donald Trump is trying to get a wall erected between the United States and Mexico in order to keep immigrants from crossing the border. Well Mr. Trump, there are apparently some people who are fed up with this country and trying to get out of here!
According to this story, a Pennsylvania Man was “fed up with this country” and “wanted his liberty”. The 50-year-old man who is on the sex offender registry for life saw our neighbor to the south as freedom, so he made a run for the border.
Law enforcement is now after him so that he can be prosecuted for failure to verify his address and failure to register with state police. You’d think they would be happy to have him out of the country if he’s so dangerous, right?
We’re coming to the point where Syria is beginning to look like a more tolerant place.
A one-time exit visa would be great along with the ability to renounce citizenship. What I pled to isn’t even a crime in a lot of countries
So can any one elaborate on why Syria is becoming to be the right country?
Well I was told to go back and start at my original state I got convicted in so I did. And I came up with a lot of interesting facts and documented law codes to back me up. On April of 97 I got convicted of a “c” felony for sexual misconduct with a minor , well on the plea bargain and abstract of judgement or on the section for judges to put special stipulation on a person mine read nothing about me having to
Register. Now the law for that time frame was my charge wasn’t even required to register but in Indiana the law changed in 98 but still it read nowhere about my case having to register now in 04 they made it a law for me to register which in 07 they said it was unconstitutional for them to do the post extaco here comes my debate now legally I wasn’t require to register but they hit me up on a failure to register and I moved out of state and the sheriffs calls the state I move to and that state tells the sheriff that I falll under the state I got convicted out ,so legally I should not of had to register in that state then , moved to Florida same thing all over again, now it’s 2018 and Indiana has removed me from theirs registry but South Carolina and Florida hasn’t now here come the big finish I firgure that heck I just move back to Indiana and they said if I do then I would fall under Florida statue and I would be a life time now some tell me how can they do this I just basically got convicted and sentence not just once but 3 times can any one tell me how they honestly do this legally please
Donald, you seem to be in a similar situation I am in, in 1997, I met a young lady at a 18 and older Dance Club, I was in my 20’s, we were in the Parking Lot of the club, she was performing Oral on me, Police came up to the window, We were both questioned, turns out she was using her sisters ID to get in clubs, but still I was arrested, Not having the Finances to secure a 20k Lawyer retainer, I had to roll with a lawyer my family found at Church….Little to say he, didn’t help me one bit……My Offer was 3 Years Probation, and 10 Years Registration. Before I had a Lawyer, I took that. So in 2002 I moved to Florida from IL. (State of my conviction), and Yes I had to notify Florida that I was moving there…..In 2008, I received a Letter from the State of Ill. Stating that I am No Longer required to register as a S/O , and that they are removing my Name from the S/O registry. At that point I contacted FDLE, and they told me they didn’t care what the State of Ill. says, They are considering my Charges from Ill. an equivalent to a certain charge in Florida that requires me to register for Life….My Charge was Agg. Crim. Sex. Abuse.
So I then ask them, so if I moved back to Ill. I would NOT have to worry about registering, then I can just move back to Florida….She told me No! Even if you move back to Ill. we are NOT going to take your name out of the Database!! How is this fair? I to feel that I’ve been convicted twice………I’m 50 and Never been in trouble before or after my conviction……Good father and husband….But still having to pay for my actions 21 years ago…
There has to be something that can be done about this, It needs to be out in the open, there needs to be more conversations about this entire System and how its laid out….All S/O are NOT monsters, this is what they want people to think, and that we have to all be tossed away like garbage…. Well guess what, Out families Love us, and we do have a life……..
We just recently received a NASTY letter from the YMCA, yes YMCA saying that their new Policy is, Back ground check on EVERYONE that enters their Facility.. So after checking me and my family background, I am no longer welcome, and our membership was terminated effective immediately…. If there was a way to post it here I would…..
I honestly want to FIGHT this State because I do think they are wrong for what they are doing…….
The discussion needs to be had!
There is something we are trying to do… the out of state challenge (if you move out of FL).
The leadership and management of this country is so fouled up that it’s beyond belief. They not only want everything their way, but they want it ‘both ways’ and ‘no ways’. Here you’re ‘damned if you do’ and ‘damned if you don’t’.
We’re at a point where people are trying to get in and we’re trying to get out. It’s unbelievable.
Sounds right states, counties, cities are writing legislation to effectively ban you from living there and at the federal level they are writing legislation that effectively prohibits you from leaving the country.
there are some countries where you can still live outside of the oppressed united states as long as your off probation but the hard part if finding employment and learning the language
” We’re coming to the point where Syria is beginning to look like a more tolerant place. ”
Sad but true.
Agreed. I’m definitely on the hunt for a country with at least more sensible laws where I’m not going to be considered a lifetime offender despite a 20 year old sentence.
Don’t forget, SORNA doesn’t require you to notify the federal government if you leave the country, but IML does, and likely so does your state.
And Mexico is not an IML friendly nation.
