I'm ready to challenge lawmakers and the reform groups with an important, but tough question: If you really think someone is so dangerous that they can't be on Facebook, live close to a school, attend a child's school play, go to church or rent an apartment, then why in the hell is he out on the streets? Answering this question honestly will do what we ALL want: Keep truly dangerous people in prison for life, allowing the rest of us, once sentenced served, the right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." I believe it will ultimately come down to this question alone and will render the Registry completely futile. We should begin urging people to ask this specific question and get this done once and for all. It will force right thinking, honest research, better laws and safer communities. The public needs to realize they're being sold a bag of lies. Because, no one here is advocating for full freedom and rights for a Violent Predatory Child Rapist right? That's all anyone cares about and it happens to be the only important fact we all have in common.

Its most likely less than 5% and would be 0% if States offered free Therapy and Counciling programs, free Job referrals and help with convicted Felons back into Society after Release. The only thing the Registry does is completely alienate a person thus making the registrant a better chance of becoming a reoffender. Its opposite of what Courts are deciding. In other words we need more FAC`s fighting hard for reformation. JEV
