Trump knows that Sessions still has friends in the Senate where he served many years. Helps Trump gather insider information. Sad the Republicans talk about reducing the size of government, until they get in power and explode the national debt again. They figure talking tough on crime will get them more votes. Same with judges who run as being tough on crime, even though their job is supposed to be fairness to all the parties. Trump and Sessions HAVE to manufacture enemies in order to stay in power. It's all phony propaganda based on lies.

I don’t know why Trump keeps Jeff Sessions in that office. He has gone against Trump in most everything good that Trump has tried to do. Besides recusing himself in the Russian investigation, he’s stood up against him in easing restrictions on marijuana, which is letting Canada jump way ahead of the US in medical uses that could even put a stop to the problem of opioid abuse as well as a host of other medical problems. He’s gone against him on the prison problem. Why is he still in that office.
