The sun has barely risen over Miami, and Dale Brown loads an orange shopping cart with everything he owns. Through the morning’s swampy heat, he pushes the cart to the edge of the railroad tracks, where he hauls the items one at a time into some overgrowth and covers them with branches. His tent from Wal-Mart, meticulously rolled and packed. A garbage bag with clothes and a blanket. He unscrews the lid to a plastic gallon jug and empties his urine into the brush.
“You feel like an animal,” says Brown, 63.
This industrial neighborhood just beyond Miami’s far western edge is home to lumber yards, auto parts warehouses, and, in recent months, roving encampments of homeless sex offenders. This summer, Brown and a half-dozen other men were living beside a chain-link fence outside a hardware company. Five blocks away, more lived in tents and makeshift shacks. And 12 blocks from there, about a dozen arrived in cars each night.

I am just glad that I bought my house in 1999.
I am also glad that ALL of my neighbors know of my situation, read the court transcripts and have ALL come to the same conclusion— I was set up by my ex-wife.
I am NOT a threat to anyone.
I am glad that when I see a “true homeless guy” panhandling that I have a couple of bucks, or a spare sandwich to give him.
I am grateful for having a small “family” that loves me.
Well at least Lauren Book sleeps soundly in her cozy warm bed each night with not a concern in the world satisfied with the knowledge that her vengeful hate motivated actions are causing untold suffering of fellow human beings she had decided to target with the power of the Florida government backing up her illegal and certainly immoral segregation and discrimination of those labelled as so-called “sex offenders” who just happen to be American citizens.
Future generations will be disgusted by her and father’s actions just like today’s generations are disgusted with earlier slavery and Jim Crow laws.
