How could anyone possibly know what any lawyer has told their deceased client? It's all protected information under the attorney/client privilege. Only the client can waive the privilege. And that cannot be done after death. Duh.

Look at all the decisions over the past quarter century. Liberal justices have sided with us far more often than conservative justices. The more liberal the court is, the more likely we will have a favorable ruling.

As it stands we have a 6-3 conservative majority in SCOTUS right now. I have covered this a few times already, particularly when RBG passed away.

If we ever get to revisit Smith v Doe we don't want six conservatives on the bench.

Thomas voted in favor of Smith v Doe.

Alito wasn’t there yet, but he tends to sympathize with the rights of law enforcement.

That may be what Derek was referring to.

In defense of Alito, he wrote the opinion in Packingham, I think.

In time, I do believe that the supreme court will reverse Smith v Doe. I feel that is the legislature and the DAs who are against us, and who will never lift a finger to do what's right for the states. In every video I see of State Supreme Courts hearings about the constitutionality of the Registry, I find a pattern that im not sure if you have seen. The justices tend to give us the benefit of the doubt while asking the hard questions to the State DAs. It looks to me that our plea looks fair and we are not asking for the state to be soft on sex crimes but to acknowledge the punishment of the registry. I think the justices see that, they can see through the state arguments, and they realized they have no real grounds to stand. I would like to see us flooding the florida state supreme court with all types of cases. I know is expensive for most of us, myself could not appeal to the supreme court because it was 30k that i dont have. We shall get to the florida supreme court and we shall get out relief that is past due. Thanks FAC for all your hard work.. we are in your debt.

Thanks!
