Legislators and politically power-addicted will JUMP on that knee-jerk bandwagon. Only this time too many gun-lover oxen will be seen in danger of being gored, unfortunately there are no Constitutional amendments like the 2nd to protect sex offenders that are as politically powerful. For example, I contributed nearly a hundred bucks each to two very prominent Democratic contenders for the presidential nomination, and both wrote back asking me what my priorities were. I gave them an activist earful, and reminded them that if they ignored our particular demographic they’d be leaving tens of millions of votes on the table. I gave them all the info about the recent conference in Texas, but they sent no one.
