U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son faces child exploitation charges
The oldest son of Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, authorities said Monday.
Tyler Boebert, 21, of New Castle, Colorado, was arrested Sunday on a warrant on “multiple charges,” the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Court records show he was arrested on five felony counts, including three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A a person requires to register in Colorado and as unfortunate, sad and illegal as this is, it may be the catalyst for reform of the draconian laws at both the state and federal level. A mad “mama bear” is a force of nature not to be taken lightly. Almost every offense in Colorado requires lifetime registration and Colorado’s ever growing list needs a relief valve like Arkansas has.
I’m so confused and this might sound idiotic but wasn’t it Lauren Book of Florida who was being the nightmare? Boebert is in Colorado, and while I disagree with almost everything she says I don’t think she’s done nearly as much harm as Book did. Let’s hope for Tyler’s sake that this was nothing really egregious and that he doesn’t face a lifetime of of this same crap. And maybe dare to dream that it gets the attention of a couple of politicians who might look at the current situation more closely.
Lauren Boebert had co-signed the 2025 version of Nancy Mace’s (not Grace but Mace) federal “death penalty for sex offenses” bill, despite being married to a Registered Person herself.
Karma level: Chickens come home to roost.
I am so torn about this sad situation. On one hand we have a young adult who may or may not have engaged in illegal conduct with a minor. The circumstances regarding the age of the two, the issue of consent and other factors will be litigated. No matter, it is a serious charge that will affect him for the rest of his life. But we do have to remember, that it was his mother, not he (as far as we know) who has been an advocate of draconian and hateful laws. We have to separate the two and not let our disgust of his mother’s actions be visited upon him. It is not easy to do. I do not wish on him what I, or many others, have gone through, and although it may be unpopular, I do pray that he maintains the strength to get through this and finds the help that he so clearly needs. I also pray that the woman involved finds strength and courage and gets the help that she will undoubtedly need.
Now we have the case of the mother, Representative Boebert, an advocate and sponsor of horrific, hateful and draconian laws against not only persons forced to register, but also of members of the LBGTQ community. She now finds herself in a position that, like many family members, never dreamed she would be in. But unlike many families, this is a web that is partially of her own making.
So we can talk about karma, revel in the fact that this horror has been visited upon her, and point out her hypocrisies (and there are many).
Or, we can pray that her eyes and heart become open to the misery that she has caused and that she finds a way to guide her family through this time. And once that is done, perhaps, just perhaps we will have a strong advocate on our side, who after experiencing this pain will now join with us and work to undo the damage that she and others have done. I am going to write to her and offer a message of support and hope. I’ve gone through too much and am too old to hate and feel joy through the misery of others. Besides, it took me a long time to figure out that love is so much easier.
Don’t just pray she finds the misery, but gently reach out and inform her office, so she is aware, but I bet she already is.

I have absolutely NO empathy at all towards her or her family. Wishing us life imprisonment and/or the death penalty?…preventing us to access emergency shelters?…sponsoring a bill that prevents surrogacy to people convicted as sex offenders?….and now her very own son is in the hot seat for the very same, if not worst crimes allegations that some of us have committed. Maybe, if her son is found guilty, it would change her mind about her skewed perceptions of sex offenders and she would come down to earth and think about all the harm and pain she caused and start supporting rational laws for sex offenders. No, is not that I am wishing ill or harm to these people, but ” what goes around, comes around” and ” karma is a bitch ” they say, Who knows, maybe she will be an ardent supporter of our recently filed SO challenge because we do need it. Either way, let’s see what comes out of this case, it will surely be entertaining.

When someone has friends in high places, things seem to “Disappear”. After a while and things calm down, it will be swept under the rug by a favor from a higher up. Double standards, but even if it goes to court, favors owed can get a lesser penalty like sex offender counseling and charges dropped or at least lowered to a misdemeanor and time served, if that.

My money is on dropped to misdemeanor assault, probabtion and no registry.
The problem here are several….1)- Her son downloaded the video in which he was shown having sex with the girl. The police have the video. 2) There are more people involved in the situation. This is not going to help him because they can be turned against him as witnesses. If she pissed off the wrong people (i.e. some officers, or the judge, or the jury are LGBTQ) then is not going to good for him. 3) She is public figure, and the police may want to make an example that even some folks are not exempt from justice. Furthermore, herself was in the news for the wrong not too long ago, and her antics at the Congress Chambers when Biden was doing his speeches may trigger some animosity among some people.
So, yes, she may call in for some favors, but this is one of those cases that is all over the news and is not going to easily going away especially with the political situation in our country…unless…she get Donny to help her and pardon her son, calling his case as “one who has been treated unfairly”…..
