Thank You for your show of human compassion. Your reward will be far beyond what is visible.
Though I don’t live in Florida and will never go there because of its totalitarian draconian inhuman evil registry laws .There are places where that is not the case. Kansas City for instance made some mistakes in The Supper Bowl. But in much more important matters they get it right. They have several large convention centers that were not being used because of virus restrictions so they turned them into overnight sleeping shelters for homeless individuals. There have never been any special designation for those on the registry . And never any problem because of it. They are policed by volunteers from charitable organizations So that the City is not out expenses and the homeless are not intimidated by a police presence. KC also donated land for volunteers to build a community of mini houses , they appear to be about 12 ft by 20 ft each and very attractive small homes with side walks and decorations . Built specifically for homeless vets with first choice. They are all build by volunteers from unions and others. No vet in KC is homeless. There is never a special designation for registrants.
Maybe KC can learn from Florida how to play better football but Florida need to learn from KC how to be humane.
