We are doing this battle the wrong way..we will never win this direction. Most anything positive will get pulled or shut down before it gains traction. Will always be a "convenient swell of opposition "at just the right time. Propaganda and the population always falls for it.. Take for example the situation with DOGE. In what clown world are we living in that the masses are torching Teslas and violently assaulting anyone against government corruption or willing to expose government corruption??? So How do we win a battle when we must fight a corrupt government/justice system and a population of useful idiots willing to do anything their masters suggest?... conclusion: the answer may be deceptively simple..instead of arguing against the registry we should be arguing PRO REGISTRY (have I lost my mind? No,just stay with me a minute) RSO should be arguing that since the state claims the registry is civil, not punitive and since the justice system claims it protects the children EVERYONE SHOULD LOVE THE REGISTRY.. Who doesn't want to save the children, right?...If we REALLY love and want to protect the children and the registry is so wonderful then why are we not using it to its full potential?? Roughly 75% of AMERICAN have been in trouble with the law for something.. 1) why aren't we registering the killer behind the wheel? Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic..just time and opportunity before they run a light or a school crossing..2)what amount the druggie and dealers..once hooked always addicted.and who do they prey on? The children..terrible..just look at the streets of big city America 3) arsonists..a mental condition that may never be gone..just lurking in the mind until the next match strike the next childs scream in the night the next silenced voice or even worse melted face..5) murders..do we even have to discuss the threat here?. I COULD GO ON forever but I think you get the idea..why aren't they on the registry? When 75% of America has to look in the mirror no longer able to "pretend" they are morally superior and their crimes are forced to haunt them for life we will wake to a new day...THEN and only then will the incompetent courts and congress start doing gymnastics trying to justify the unjustifiable..You can bet all of a sudden miracles will happen and they will start deciding maybe registrys aren't so good after all..

I would like to try to amend the Romeo and Juliet Law. It should give judges law enforcement and lawyers , a tool to look at a case by case basis, instead of just a blanket charge. Many young people are not capable of making sound decisions at that age. Especially once that will affect them for the rest of their life. Having to sign an agreement for a lifetime on the registry versus going to prison. Tough choice for a young kid. This could be changed, teenagers are often young and dumb. There should be an allowance for this.

So Florida has a Romeo and Juliet clause, I know someone who is 18 and had consensual sex with girls who are under age, but just keep being kids. The state allows an age difference of four years. If they are one day over the four years, they take them down and all that goes with it. How do I get them to consider that young men sometimes don’t always use their brain correctly, and girls like boys. I think that law could be amended, I don’t know how to do it, but I think people are very much more open to teenagers who are messed up and have ended up on the registry than someone who is older. I feel we could chip away after the laws I started with the young ones. Just wondering what you think.

50 states and 50 different registry laws. Although some may be similar, there are nuances in each state. Some can be removed automatically; some can never be removed. Some states have major residence restrictions and some or looser.
And you might get removed then decide to move to Florida and BAM! Right back on the registry, and for life.

Although we all want the Registry abolished, it is always heartening to see some progress being made. Now, is we just get Florida to think like UT for positive changes.

Just abolish the registry altogether. Some of us are only on there because of corrupt district attorneys who fabricate the facts of the case as well as getting your attorney to work against you.
