why not attack the registry as a hate crime. hate crime defined prejudice against a group of people, Most of these laws was written out of anger and political gain. Bill Clinton and john welch had sex with a younger woman and admitted to it but not on the list. According to Ocala starbannerMark Lunsford had child porn on his computer but has failed to be convicted due to political control It makes the states' attorney look bad. If I had the money I would hire these attorneys here at Florida action they are doing all they can to fight for us. 27 years ago my crime was and I took plea bargain way before the registry act came out in 1994. now got stuck on crap that did not exist at that time!!!

Yeah I figured it would be. I wonder if someone like the ACLU would put up the money to sponsor it. But yeah something like this needs to be done. In Broward and Dade counties and right by his offices. Well I'd give what little I could toward the effort if it was started. I wonder if that Jeff hearne guy could help us get one? But the Books need to be publicly shamed for all of this. Damn. Wish I had the money.

yea, i knew it was off topic for this particular thread, but, any thoughts on trying to push for a federal standard? with every state being different with residency restrictions and registration requirements, it would be great, IMO, to have a federal law that over sees all of this, take the control away at a local level.. does that make sense ?

this may seem a little off topic, but, instead of fighting all of these cities, counties and states over ordinances, would it make more sense to go after washing DC and try to get the federal government involved in actually enforcing the federal laws the Adam Walsh Act (Tier registration , 1000 foot residency restrictions, time on registry.. etc??) i mean we have them pushing for states to follow the federal laws on immigration, why not try to have them push for the same for us ? or is that too big of a can of worms to open. These states have way to much control in this, and we can not expect equal treatment under the law the way it is now.

I just spent the last hour or so looking for the write up on the RSO Camp in the papers. I cant find any.

I called WSVN and asked if the knew about Ron Books "escapades" and double-dipping for the Homeless Trust while trying to make those people in Miami homeless. I asked if they were going to investigate Ron & Lauren Book for creating this problem and then try to make a profit for themselves. I ended with having both charged with Hate Crimes, and crimes against Humanity.

I was met with about 5-10 seconds of silence; then this
"You must be one of those child molesters".
NONE of what you said is true.

Maybe we can call wsvn and voice what is really going on. Write to Help Me Howard. I dont know.....
I dont want to start no "poop", either on here, or in the world.

Then a click-----

Average cost of a billboard is about $5,000 per month plus design fee plus printing and installation. So $6000+ for the first month and $5000 a month after depending on how premium the location is (cars per day of traffic, etc) . Kind of expensive

In the 1960's, Chuck Zink had a children's morning show on WTVJ (Channel 4 back then, now Channel 6?). One day, he heard the receptionist tell a caller that they did not allow African-American children in the studio audience for his show. Zink was outraged and went straight to Mr. Mitchell Wolfson, the owner of the station and it's parent company, Wometco Enterprises. Mr. Wolfson told him to do what he thought was right and he would support him. As a result. Royal Castle restaurants, the biggest advertiser on the show, pulled all of their ads. But, at the last minute. Mr. James McLamore, the founder of Burger King, bought all of those ad spots. Anybody been to a Royal Castle restaurant lately? I left Miami in 1998 and don't have a good feel for how things are done there today, but out sure seems to me that men of honesty and integrity like Zink, Wolfson and McLemore are in short supply in South Florida these days.
