In reply to j. As I understand it, Florida has more sex offenders registered than any other state in the US. How? When an out-of-state SO visits FL for any reason and registers, that SO is permanently registered as though their crime occurred in FL! My husband and I visited friends in FL for one week several years ago and discovered later than my husband is permanently registered in FL as though he committed a crime in FL! FL refuses to remove such SO's from their Registry.

Not asking for myself, i am very blessed to have a stable job, but there are so many RSO's that cannot find work as they are unemployable by the opinions and scare tactics ( not facts ) of so many politicians and judges. IF they were to declare that RSO's are " disabled " and started having to give them a SSDI check, how long do you think it would take before someone in our government figured out the registry and designation has to go ?

It would not be SSI, it would be SSDI (disability), and as long as you are more than 55yo, you cannot be “retrained” in any line of work. You can claim PTSD, severe depression, Bi-polar, just to name a few.

Check with a Psychiatrist, psychologist and have this all documented. Then check with a GOOD Social Security Attorney.

i had a thought.. according Ron Book, among other politicians and various judges, RSO’s are ” hard wired” and will offend again.. my interpretation of this ” hard wired ” comment would fall under mental illness, so why cant all of these people who are homeless and or unemployable be classified as disabled and collect SSI ?? i mean after all, it is the politicians and judges who are the ones telling us that we are mentally incapable of being around others??

I think a Jim Defede had a good idea meet everything Book has to say with research, prove he is wrong. Show people that he is just acting on his own revenge, and guilt.

page 18 FALSE STATEMENTS

Ron Book Knows or should have known the fact that 90% os sex offenses come from within the home or close acquaintance and he should also be aware of other fact’s since he is involved in his daughters’ so-called nonprofit yet I think he still makes false statements or what can be construed as false statements, thus could he actually be violating the law and be liable for deception as page 19 states?
