‘LASSO ANOTHER REGISTRANT’

-That appears to be the modus operandi of the Law Makers, Judges, and Attorneys in Greater Wyoming. One of my nieces is a practicing attorney in one of the wealthiest towns in America-Jackson Hole, WY! (She defends mainly Drunk Drivers, like the ‘Ron Books’ of the World-Go Figure)! I believe the Recidivism Rate for a Drunk is 60%-Plus versus a Registrant’s Recidivism Rate is less than 5%!
-As we do not speak anymore because I am termed a ‘pedophile’ (which is in correct as a Pedophile is a Medical Clinical Term and must be Diagnosed by a ‘Medical Professional’) in her deranged mind andI was told through another family member that ‘they’ will not do anything to adjust restrictions on Registrants in Wyoming-just ‘Window Dressing’, perhaps making it worse for them!

I’m also curious which “sex offender programs” they’re cutting.

I doubt they’ll cut registry related programs, since they charge for the “privilege” of registering.

Initial Registration: Up to $125 state plus 25% county ($31.35 max);
Registration update: Up to $25 state plus 25% county ($6.25 max)

At any rate, ALL states are expected to have a budget crisis due to the COVID ad racial injustice protest issues. (The looming housing crisis is about to make things worse.)

This would be a good time to argue against the registry from a monetary standpoint.

Even if we are to go to and take part in one of these Sex offender programs what if anything will change for this SO? Will our time on the registry be shortened? Will we at some point be considered less dangerous? What will change if anything at all? NIT WITS say that you have to go to these Sex offender programs even though we know that these Sex offender programs will not help you in any way.

The term cut “sex offender programs” is merely used here to stop the budget cuts by scaring the public into thinking sex offenders will be running rampant and snatching children behind every bush.

It has no practical meaning other than to the usual scare tactic to get more money using SO’s as the villian.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Perhaps this will afford an opportunity to make some serious process improvement …. possibly something bold and cutting edge like eliminating ineffective, costly feel good sex offender laws.

Sex offender programs? Really? I thought that we sex offenders cant be cured or helped in any way shape or form that is the reason that the nit wits made the sex offender registry I thought. Sex offender programs? The nit wits are getting nit witter every day.

SO treatment, if done right, would be an unfortunate target for cuts.

But if they are talking about cutting tracking, surveillance, and compliance checks, then those could be eliminated 100% with no corresponding threat to public safety.
