Do these individuals get caught doing something else first, and then the technicalities are added later?

I mean… if you are not under supervision… no officers will ever come into your home without you letting them in. Are the arrestees the dummies who let them? Same with talking to them.

I wouldn’t put a lot of blame on the criminal federal government. There are PLENTY of stupid local people all over the country. Big government people at all levels love Registries.

I agree with you about appearances. Every Registered Person and Familiy in the country needs to stop allowing law enforcement to get near them. If a person is not on probation or parole, he/she should not allow LE to “visit” them anywhere. Not even just to say “hello, yes I live here.” A person should certainly never sign anything at home or work.

All ~1 million people who are Registered in the U.S. need to stop giving ANY appearance that anything about the Registries is acceptable or legitimate. Allow these criminal regimes to visit you gives them power. Take it away. They are criminals that need to be controlled and corrected.

Why would you call yourself an offender? Don’t use their language of war. When people adopt their language, that signals that it is legitimate. None of it is.

You are just a person who is listed on an immoral, illegal, anti-American big government hit list. That’s it. What do you want to call yourself? A Registered Person? A Person Registered for Harassment, Restrictions, and Punishment? That is the one I like.

An outdoor tennis court is a playground, while an outdoor tennis court is not, according to the Brevard law, definitions sections. The good news is that for the part of Florida you’re looking at, I am unaware of any banishment laws that are nearly as broad and as sweeping as the one in Brevard that can get one arrested for dining at the wrong Burger King. Stay out of Seminole and Brevard!

Thank you, JZ. It only lists parks and playgrounds, so if I had to pick one, I would put a tennis court under playground. But that is simply trying to make an educated guess, and that interpretation is far too vague. I know that the individual involved does not have the money to bring a lawsuit against the vagueness of the ordinance, but from everything that I have been reading, courts are striking down these ordinances that are so vague. The county attorneys are telling the local governments they will not win in court with such vague ordinances. I am waiting to see a county such as Brevard find a bench at a city bus stop, plant a tree by it, and call it a park.

I was arrested last week at Jacksonville registration for technicals. I am an ex post facto SO so I’m hoping to delay until we can get the Supremes to rule.

I am interested in this same question because they never enter my home during the checks . how did 79 people get arrested? were they on probation and the probation officer told on them or maybe a disgruntled roommate or family member?

Don’t forget the 2,500 foot “predator” rule. Aside from that and the atrocious “Holdiay” ordinance, it’s not too bad, especially if you live east of the St. Johns river.
