More Than A Quarter Of Boston’s Registered Sex Offenders Are Homeless

Boston is grappling with a homeless offender problem.  This, in spite of the fact that the state’s Supreme Court struck down residency restrictions in 2015. According to the Sex Offender Registry Board, Boston Police are trying to address the problem. They currently have a federal grant to help cover overtime costs so officers can check up on homeless sex offenders.
