Bovo Amendment Sails Through Miami-Dade County Commission

The “Bovo Amendment” to Miami-Dade County’s Overnight Camping Ordinance that will permit Law Enforcement to arrest homeless sex offenders on sight, sailed through the Miami Dade County Commission meeting today, passing unanimously and without discussion. We’re not surprised at all. Hopefully this additional punitive component of the sex offender residency restriction only helps support the argument in the pending lawsuit.
