Derek Logue on Dr. Drew to Discuss Teen Prank Turned Sex Crime
On Wednesday, Derek Logue was a guest on the Dr. Drew show to talk about a teen prank turned sex crime. Not one minute into speaking, another guest (a Judge) verbally started attacking him without giving him an opportunity to make his point. If anything, it’s an illustration of the blind hatred and prejudice that permeates society.
We think you did a good job, Derek, and made solid points.

I’m just glad I didn’t get slammed for telling Leo Terrell to “stick it.”
I’ve been on Dr Drew’s show five times now (six for HLN in total), and I’ve learned that I have a very narrow window to make a point before the show devolves into insanity. Why do I do it, then? Besides increased exposure, I get a few calls not long after the show. I even got calls from those who aren’t on OUR side of the issue who thanked me for taking it to this guy.
Even better, all the public outrage made the Maricopa Co DA’s office back off.
We appreciate the efforts Derek. Know it’s not fun being the punching bag, but at least you get some good exposure and you’re getting better at squeezing in the points you’re trying to make in between the attacks.
Leo Terrell can stick it.

Oh, and by the way, SHAME ON YOU too “Dr” Drew. I don’t care if the man is a judge or not, Derek and any other regular citizen can talk to anyone in public or in a setting like that in an interview, ESPECIALLY when one person is provoking the other for no reason whatsoever. But Dr. Drew is acting like that judge is God or something. And therein lies the problem. These people in authority abuse their power and get big heads about it and think they’re above all of us “little” people. We need to speak to our legislators and judges more like that in a forceful manner to get their attention and let them know that in all actuality, they work for US and not the rich lobbyists and private prison corporations. Again Derek, way to fire back!
Blatant, unprovoked, unmerited just random attack by the “judge” on Derek for no reason whatsoever other than the judge was just completely biased against him obviously because of his charge. Whatever oversight committee for judges in his state should take good note of this. How can he “judge” objectively from his bench with that kind of attitude………and no, SHAME ON HIM for being a biased, subjective, prejudiced judge (prejudiced on the basis of charge that is, and maybe color too for all I know), but all in all, just disgraceful. Good job Derek. Way to fire back!! That’s what we ALL need to do.
