Bovo Amendment Sails Through Miami-Dade County Commission

The “Bovo Amendment” to Miami-Dade County’s Overnight Camping Ordinance that will permit Law Enforcement to arrest homeless sex offenders on sight, sailed through the Miami Dade County Commission meeting today, passing unanimously and without discussion. Baptist minister Glenn Burns calls the evening of April 7, 2016, the “crucifixion.” It was the toughest test of his 40-year career. Burns leads a Christian social services ministry in northern Florida called the Good Samaritan Network.
